Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Backend Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the server-side logic that powers our applications. You will tackle complex architectural challenges, optimize system performance, and ensure the scalability and reliability of our backend services to support a growing user base.

As a senior member of the team, you will not only contribute high-quality code but also mentor junior developers, drive technical decisions, and collaborate closely with frontend engineers and product managers to deliver seamless end-to-end features.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable server-side applications and APIs.
• Optimize application performance and response times for maximum speed and scalability.
• Architect database schemas and optimize complex queries to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
• Lead the implementation of security best practices to protect sensitive data and prevent vulnerabilities.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high engineering standards and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and project roadmaps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues to ensure high system availability.

Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in backend development using modern languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, or Node.js).
• Proven track record of designing and deploying distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Deep understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Strong experience with RESTful API design and integration of third-party services.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead technical initiatives from conception to deployment.
