Python Backend Engineer (Middle)

We're looking for a Python Backend Engineer to build and run the services behind our products: HR, documents, tasks, meetings and AI assistants.

What you will do

• Design and build REST APIs and background jobs in Python (FastAPI, async SQLAlchemy, Celery)
• Model data in PostgreSQL: schemas, Alembic migrations, indexes and query tuning
• Connect services through events (NATS) and webhooks, and build AI features on top of our LLM gateway
• Write the tests that let us ship every day, and review your teammates' code
• Run what you build: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, logs and metrics
• Take part in design discussions and help shape our engineering practices

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial backend development in Python
• FastAPI, Django or Flask in production
• PostgreSQL and SQL beyond basic CRUD: transactions, indexes, query plans
• asyncio, HTTP and REST, authentication (JWT, OAuth2)
• Testing with pytest; Git; Docker; comfortable on Linux
• Uzbek, Russian or English for daily work

Nice to have

• Celery, Redis, NATS or other message brokers
• Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions
• Experience with LLM APIs, multi-tenant SaaS or document workflows
